Blue Ridge Wildflowers | 8"x10" | Southern Appalachia Temperate Rainforest

$24.99
Resilience • Biodiversity • Interconnection

Southern Appalachia is deeply personal to me, not only because it is where I grew up, but because these ancient mountains hold an undeniable sense of wonder, history, and connection. The region’s dense forests support one of the most biodiverse temperate rainforest ecosystems in the world, giving life to countless species of plants, fungi, insects, and wildlife.

Part of the Appalachia Collection, this piece celebrates the layered beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains through a landscape filled with native and regionally characteristic flora. Blazing star, red columbine, black-eyed Susans, wild geraniums, violets, rhododendron, mountain laurel, tiger lilies, field thistle, and wild azaleas gather beneath the rolling ridgelines, reflecting the remarkable botanical diversity of the region. Together, they create a portrait of place — honoring the mountains not simply as scenery, but as a living landscape shaped by countless species, relationships, and seasons.
